The Lord’s Church Is Not Just Another Denomination
We wear no other name than Christ’s, and are known as Christians, members of the body of Christ, which is the church of Christ (Acts 11:26, Ephesians 1:22-23, Colossians 1:18, Romans 16:16)
Our Worship Is Spiritual, Not Material or Social
We do not serve refreshments or appeal to the appetites of men. Our purpose is not to please men with luxurious surroundings or use any kind of entertainment which is only to please men. The Gospel is the only power that draws man to God, not entertainment (Romans 1:16).
What To Expect When You Visit The Worship Service
We have been instructed by the words of Jesus to worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24). God is spirit and is worshiped as a spiritual being. This means we must have the proper attitude with a rational and intellectual response. To worship God in truth is not just to please ourselves, but to worship according to the pattern we have been given in the New Testament (Philippians 3:17, John 17:17). Only those who worship God in truth are assured of divine approval. There is also unacceptable worship that is not in harmony with God’s will (Matthew 15:1-9).
Singing
The unique pattern in the New Testament scriptures tells us to sing to one another, teaching and admonishing with psalms and hymns, making melody with our hearts, not harps (Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16). The music in our worship service is “a cappella”, without the accompaniment of musical instruments as there is no authority in the New Testament for such use.
Prayer
The assembly is lead in prayer by several of the men. We pray to give God acclamations, confessing our sins, and thanking God for everything He supplies, both physical and spiritual, and asking for answers to prayer through supplication (1 Timothy 2:1, 8).

Our lessons and sermons are designed to edify each other and increase our knowledge of God’s word by giving us application for this present day. We teach that we must not merely be hearers of the word, but doers of it (James 1:22). We preach that we should accurately teach the word of truth with sound doctrine (2 Timothy 2:15, 3:2-5).

The Lord's Supper
According to the pattern given to us in the New Testament, we partake of the Lord’s Supper each first day of the week (Acts 20:7). The Supper consists of unleavened bread and fruit of the vine as memorials of the body and blood of Christ (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).
Giving As We Prosper
The Scriptures tell us that on the first day of each week we are to put aside and save as we may prosper (1 Corinthians 16:1-2). As our guest you are not expected to give when the tray is passed among us. Giving at this time is a scriptural responsibility of the members only.
